going to respectfully disagree. qoir is an excellent format, and the trio of jpg/png/gif is plenty serviceable. classic bitmaps like xbm/xpm and bmp are good too.

.Webp is for people who do not know what a .png is.
Even .jpg can get you better results if you convert it well.
Look at my avatar. It uses pixels the size of houses. ;) But thanks to the mandatory .webp-conversion, it still has artifacts.
